Official Opening Times for Members and Day Visitors
Saturdays and Bank Holidays, (May-Oct)12.00 - 17.30
Sundays, (May-Dec) 11.00 - 17.30 Wednesdays, (May-Aug) 18.30 - Dusk
There will be escort boats on the water at these times, but visitors should note that the club operates a 'self rescue' policy - which means that in accordance with good practice, you should not be on the water unless you are competent and able to self rescue in the conditions prevailing.
The club is open for ten months of the year, but the water is closed during March and April due to planning restrictions associated with bird breeding.
Windsurfing and Sailing Outside Official Opening Times (Members only).
Members may sail outside official opening times on a 'Buddy Sailing' basis, ie two or more members sailing two or more craft, by agreement, prepared to support each other as necessary.
