Located high in the magnificent scenery of the Dales National Park, Grimwith Reservoir is the largest inland sailing venue in Yorkshire (371 acres). We believe it's the best place to enjoy Sailing or Windsurfing in the area, and some say the North. Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club is Registered Charity No. 1110757 Club members - please register to gain access to the Members Only area. Club History
The origins of the club go back to the 1960s when a group of keen dinghy sailors from the Leeds and surrounding areas negotiated with the Leeds Corporation Water Authority to form a Club on Thruscross reservoir near Blubberhouses.
